I was talking with my friend Lisa the other day about her adorable little girl, Autumn, and she told me that hearing Autumn's fetal heartbeat for the first time was the most magical experience in the world. Well, Ben and I heard our little baby's heartbeat yesterday and I have to agree! It was simply amazing. Yes, we're having a baby! I'm due February 1, 2009. We're just rooting for a healthy child, but check out this slideshow with a recording of the heartbeat (expertly made by Ben) and feel free to offer your guesses on what we're having.

I would agree, nothing is quite as wonderful as hearing that little heartbeat. But I can't wait to hear my baby's cry, that should be just as wonderful! I'm guessing a girl, so that way our little girl will have someone to play with. I hope you are feeling better each day. Just wait until the baby starts to move, that is just as good as hearing the heartbeat.
Congratulations Meggers , You will be a wonderful mommy. That is so fun that you and Julie will have babies close together. Loves!
Oh and I forgot to add that baby's first cry is equally as wonderful if not more so. I think it sounds like a boys heart beat. just kidding like I can even know that.
I agree with Nikki-that sounded like a boys heart beat-and why I say that is because it doesn't sound like the heart beats that I have heard. Actually I too have no idea-but I do believe it is a boy!! Congrats! Being pregnant and getting big is so much fun!!! Enjoy the next, 6 or so months!

I can't contain my excitement for you and Ben! Did you cry when you heard the heartbeat? I can't wait to see little Baby Tolman. I'm guessing it's a boy since Jonesy and I had girls, we need a boy to balance out the girls! RADA VAS (instead of VAJU, since there's 3 of you now instead of 2) imam!
I say boy, Ben needs a little Tolmanator to keep him on his toes!
